my school broke a world record! today wasn't like any normal school day. we had to go to this place called tampines vista. so i met wenqi and clara at macdonald's and took bus 293 to that place. we boarded the bus and alighted at the stop. then we went to meet gloria and then went into the place. we gathered in our classes and then had some exercises. it's called something like the anglican workout (i think). it's quite stupid. you have to coordinate your hand and leg movements. after that, those people who are participating in the race, the human wheelbarrow race, had to go and report to the people in charge. we got our number tags, pins and gloves (for the people crawling). we waited for a long, long time before starting the race. so after the much long wait, the race finally started. qian yu was my partner. i was the one crawling and she the one carrying. the starting wasn't too bad. but somewhere in the middle, my hands were like super tired and with 0.1% strength left. i fell flat on the ground, and also caused qian yu to fall on me. ouch. somewhere towards the end, i was extremely tired and kept falling flat on the ground in every few steps. gloria and clara came to cheer me on. awwww..... so touched.. anyways, i soon reached the ending point. my elbows and knees were dirty and painful. double ouch. anyway, after that, we went back to our classes. that person from the guiness world record came and announced that we managed to beat the previous record of 562 people with our record of over 700 people.anyways, gloria' uncle sent us to the interchange. clara took bus 81 and i took bus 38. went home to bathe and then went out to kfc to meet gloria and clara for lunch. we had a great time eating at kfc. hahas. then we went to school to watch the teacher's day concert as i mentioned in one of my earlier post.saw johannes and clique in the train and the 2 1h girls on the way up. the guest-of-honour was mrs s r nathan. the concert was nice, with the performance of the harmonica enssemble, dance society and class 3j. wenqi's performance was good. on the whole, the concert was great. after the concert ended, we went to talk to the teachers and then went home.there was heavy rain, accompanied by extremely strong wind. cold but nice weather for sleeping. =P went home and used the computer and had a nap. very relaxing day. looking forward to seeing my ex-schoolmates and teachers tomorrow!Signing off...
