today is wenqi's birthday, so happy birthday to you! anyways, i went out with clara ad wenqi yesterday to celebrate wq's birthday in advance. so in the morning, when i could have still be in my cozy bed, i woke up earlier and went out to meet wq and clara and bk. clara bought a packet of hashbrown and shared it with us. after that, they wanted to take a cab to east coast park and so i followed them. the cab fare was $8.20. they paid $4 each and i paid only $0.20. very bad right? hehehehe... wq wanted to learn how to rollerblade so she and clara went to rent. 1 hour for $10. that is so expensive. but still, there are people renting. wq was struggling to go to the begginers corner as it was her first time.clara was teaching her how to rollerblade properly. then gloria called her hp and wq thought that it was a guy. gloria was quite angry (i think). she called again when i was playing with wq's hp. i picked up and began talking to her. we were crapping throughout the conversation.after that, we headed for the beach and built a 'sandcastle' and also burried each others' feet in the sand. wahaha.. we had such a great time there. then we went to macdonald's to wash up and had our lunch there. ok, i admit that i eat very slowly. why? because wenqi finished her burger and most of her fries and i was still eating my burger. anyways, we went to cycle as i wanted to. 2 hours for $5. quite reasonable.so we cycled and also went on the track that we took for our 2.4km run. on our way back, we saw some others places renting the rollerblades at a much lower price. so after some consideration, we returned our bikes and went to rent from one of the place. it was $6, for 2 hours and includes the socks and stuffs. before that, we went to 7-eleven to get some drinks. i went to the begginers corner to put on the rollerblades. as it was my first time too, i needed lots of help from the railing. then there was this young girl, 7 years old, who kept sticking to us. we talked quite a lot. after a while, we were rather irritated by her so clara said that the next person that talked to her had to treat all of us to drinks. so earing this in mind, i did not talk to her. i was struggling on the railing with my rollerblades. she came to talk to me again and asked if i liked ice-skating. so i was like trying to get away, but with the blades, i could not move that fast. she kept asking and asking and after a while, i could not bear it and shook my head. anyway, she left soon after. the rollerblades were uncomfortable and when i took it out, my toes felt much better.we went to return the rollerblades and then went to 7-eleven to buy a drink and then we all shared it among oursleves. i led them to a bus stop which i know and then took bus 196 to bedok bus interchange. we then took mrt back. i alighted at simei and then walked home. when i was at the void deck, i saw my neighbour. she asked me to help to tell my malay neighbour to help to pick up her ez-link card from the drain. not the normal drains but the deep drains. a guard from the condo opposite came and saw what happened and then asked another guard to help. so that guard picked the card up from the drain and returned it to my neighbour. hero... i helped ger to bring the ladder up to her house. that's what neighbours are for. anyway, after that, i played with that little boy, bryan. he was naughty. once, he fell flat on his face and cried. but kids are kids. he soon recovered and was smiling and laughing again. after that, i went back home.it was a fun day, but gloria could not join us. sad... once again, happy birthday to wenqi!Signing off...
