back from the concert not long ago... a musical journey.. by the vocal consort..
after tuition, we went to pizza hut to buy pizza for dinner.. then we went back home... i bathed then ate pizza then went out.. met qy at simei mrt station.. then we went to esplanade..went in.. found our seats (we were sitting in the stalls.. good view..) .. at arnd 7.30, the concert started.. they walked in, singing at the same time.. they went in the order of erm.. medieval, renaissance, baroque, romantic, then the NUS item, which is the item sang by NUS.. then classical, (intermission), folklore, a male chorus item, and lastly, contempory classical..
the medieval, renaissance, baroque, romantic, NUS choir item, and classical was quite boring.. but the folklore and contemporary classical was definately more interesting.. for the folklore, the choir sang 4 songs.. some of them had actions whch, of course, made the song more entertaining.. the the contemporary classical was the most entertaining.. the choir came in dressed like little kids and carried things like soft toys, bags etc... so cute.. then mr kweicame in with a teddy bear.. then he put the bear fcing the audience leaning against the sort of 'platform' for the conductor to stand on.. so they sang monday's child, the owl and the pussy-cat, windy nights, matthew, mark, luke and john, sing a song of sixpence, distant land, and the music's always there with you.. nice songs..
so we asked for an encore.. so they sang meplalian.. our syf piece.. haha..
