Quispiam Novus 2008: The Start of Something Newwas choir's concert last night.. gahh. im missing it. still cant believe that its over. =X it's like our effort for the past few months is now over. but nvm.. im glad that the audience enjoyed it.. =D heee. thanks to mr toh, mr tan, ms farah, comm members for the motivation and for persevering through even though we were all so uncooperative and moody and stuff. thanks for everything. =) and WE DID IT!!! XD
oh, WARNING. LONG POST AHEAD. but u still have to read it. XD hohoho.
okay. so the day started from 9am. =D we assembled in the hall, did warm-ups. then marcus went through a few songs before mr toh came.. and cos it was too warm, we went to the music room instead. much better, with the aircon.. practiced till 11 plus.. and mr toh asked us to conserve our voices for the night.. =) then we took the bus to SCH. reached the place, had lunch, applied make-up, and then it was rehearsal after that.. and i had to stand on the first rise with cheryl on the other side, which made me look out of place, like i stood on the wrong step.. haha.. =) rehearse, rehearse, rehearse.. until 6pm like that.. then had dinner.. was very rushed though, as we had to make up and change and warm up too.. perhaps i was too excited, or my lunch wasnt digested, i had not much of an appetite, so i ate the liao4 only.. wasted lots of rice.. heee. then we changed. the toilet was super crowded. XP and we all didnt know how to put the scarf, so we wasted lots of time doing that too.. XP and there wasnt time for warm-ups, so in the end, we were singing away.. like 10 mins before the concert, i started to feel very scared and nervous, and almost cried.. was worried that i sang the wrong words for Prayer of St Francis. thinking of the sec fours.. =X lots of stuffs. and jemimah and chia prayed before that which made me wanna cry even more.. =X anyways, the door opened and could hear screams from the audience.. gahh. mr toh mouthed 'well done' for credo and i smiled. =D heee. and felt very wonderful when i heard the echoes after the songs.. then 20 min intermission. was rushing and rushing to get changed and stuff. tingwei lent me her earrings.. so chio larh. =) and it was very messy backstage.. heee. anyways, intermission over.. and we were on standby for HSM.. door opened.. and the whole high school musical went through smoothly.. =D and at the end, we were super high!! XD hohoho. =) packed up and took groups photos after that. =D and met wenqi and yannis. they were so nice to give me flowers.. =D haha.. pink roses. =) and red ones for khng. went to have supper after that. =)
and after i bathed, i was so tired that i fell asleep on the sofa sitting up, with the bouquets of roses in my hand.. and sis took a photo of me doing that.. gahh. haha.. =)
okay.. woke up rather early today to go for early service.. and didnt join my CG for games as i didnt feel like playing.. hee. sorry! went orchard to shop. bought woks and pots as they were rather attractive. heee. =) then fetched sis and granny and went to uncle's house for steamboat. there were crabs, duck, and many other stuffs. =) celebrated ben's birthday.. =) and drank peppermint milk tea. =D not bad larh.. but got a stomachache.. dunno why too.. and its coming back again now. =X gosh.

I LOVE AHCHOIR TO BITS! XD oh, and yannis said that choir ppl are good looking! haha.. =) yeeheehee..
gahh. i wish for last night to replay itself! and thank you God for making this concert a success! XD
