we had cip today! =) so we went to simei care centre after school. heh.
simei care centre looks like another extension of changi general hospital, only smaller. the place is for people with some mental problem to rehabilitate. they are recuperating there i think. so there's this fu4 ze2 ren2 called Martha. she has tattoos eh. O.o she gave us things to do. so some went to sort clothes out, then a big group went to teach the people there some things and a few went to do handicraft. folding roses. so alvina, angela and i went to teach them how to do things with 21 other 3G people. we went to this room called the rehab room. the people there get paid a little for doing work. something like factory work larh, but isnt. so we were taught how to handle the helmets, how to slot the chin thing in and yup. we were supposed to teach the people, but liling and i couldnt find anyone to teach so in the end we just did them ourselves. heh. XP there was this table with an indian lady. she was packing some wedding gifts which were really pretty and cute. they had other things like flower tea buds packed in a test tube. =) interesting. heh. oh, there was this uncle who sang songs. his singing is nice. =) he's called ronald i think. many olden songs. ahahaha. and then he sang yue4 liang4 dai4 biao3 wo 3 de4 xin1. hahaha.. and a few of us sang along and clapped with him. hahaha.. and after that we helped to pack glass coasters into a red bag. =) hee. very efficient leh. heh. another lady told us to study hard and go to college. haha.. yup. =)
after that, we all gathered back at a room and had some sharing. hee. and then a survey, and then Q&A. interesting eh. =) and then a staff brought us around the place. oh one thing not so good about the place is that the stairs are very dangerous. you trip and bye bye, there you go. O.o heh.
