oh yay!
"CHOIR #25. ANGLICAN HIGH SCHOOL. GOLD." *someone claps*.................. "WITH HONOURS!!!! " *screams, shouts, claps* :Doh YAY! heh. WE DID IT!!! haha.
hmm. no regrets aye?
hmm okay. i shall just do the boring old stuff of typing what we did throughout the day. heh.
well, we went to sch as usual and had warm-ups after morning assembly. and waited for mr tan to come down to tell us how to get on stage and stuffs. then from 9-11, we were to eat and change and put on make up. busy busy busy. heh. anyway mr toh came at 11 like that and did warm ups with us. and then we sang through the songs. after singing once through, mr toh made us hum through ave with the lights off. hmm quite a few of them said that they felt goosebumps. heh. :D yay. i dont know how goosebumps feel like though. XP anyway at abt 12.15, we gathered outside GO. dr boon, ms cheong and tan meng tong were there. they talked to us. and then took photos and stuff. left soon after that. on the bus, we were busy taking photos and doing stupid stuffs. heh. :) we reached vch and mr tan talked to us at the foyer. i was perspiring like crazy larh. super hot. anyway, after he talked to us, we took lots of pictures. heh. :D went to put our bags down somewhere and then went back there. ate pi pa gao. very nice leh. really soothes your throat. ^^ yum yum. anyway we walked to some rehearsal room and sang through ave and miao jia. heh. soon after, we went to wait outside the concert hall for our turn to go in. we were the first choir of the afternoon session of day 2. heh. so when we got there, it was 12 minutes before performance. nervous nervous. then mr toh told us to focus and pass him all our anxieties and nervousness to him. before going on stage, i was holding on to yeeying's hand. or the other way round. heh. anyway we both also very nervous. and 12 minutes can really pass very slowly. DX heh. anyway, we got on stage and started off with white horses. :D then ave. heh. when it was the 2nd ave maria part, i dont know why but i felt like crying. heh. and then miaojia. i thought it was okay. heh. and actually, i really did not feel any nervousness while singing leh. heh. :) anyway, it was soon over. just like that. =X mr toh talked to us behind sir stamford raffles back. heh. he told us not to keep our hopes too high. and he said that there was like something lacking. :X so we were a bit disappointed le. :X anyway, we took photos and stuffs. heh.
after changing out of our gowns, we went to paya lebar to eat. haha. long john silvers again. XP heh. it seems that everytime we go and eat tgt, it's always long john. haha. anyway, at 4 plus, we made our way back to vch. met emma and walked back. while walking back, alvina and i saw this tunnel and went there with bird and emma. heh. we took a very nice photo. ^^ oh and while emma and na were figuring out how to use the timer, bird and i sang in the tunnel. we sang ave. super nice leh. heh. :D but i think ppl who walked past us were thinking that we were some weirdos. haha. :D anyway we went back to go and look for yingjun they all. so when it was dunman high's turn to sing, we all went in to sit so that we can be inside to listen to the results. haha. sound so auntie. so after dunman high sang, many ppl crowded in to wait for the results. heh. good thing we were alrdy inside. if not most probably no seats. so we waited for about an hour. and during that hour, someone kept "shh-ing" and made us think that the results were going to be announced. anyway at abt 6.30 or slightly before that, the emcee came in and talked abt the adjudicators. zz. make us feel even more nervous and scared only. heh. anyway, she started from choir no.1. blah blah. nervousness building up. when it was our sch, the emcee said "gold". then we were waiting for the "with honours" to come. but. nothing. so someone clapped. then after that she added, "with honours". hahaha. then it was crazy screaming and clapping. oh yay. haha. but that emcee very naughty leh. like purposely lag so long. then see that we no reaction, then gave up and continued. heh. :) but anyway, we did it! hahaha. :D super happy. heh. alvina and eugenia were the first 2 to stand in our row. haha. then after that, jojo was crying like crazy. tingwei too. hahaha. :D so there were 5 schs with gwh. commonwealth sec, vs, tkss, anderson sec and AHS! hahaha. whoohoo. hee. ^^ so after that marcus did the 3 cheers thing for ahs. hahaha. hugs here and there. went out and was super high. heh. took many photos again and sang ubi caritas around mr toh. haha. and uncle zheng sheng was thrown into the water. haha. super funny. :D stayed outside vch until quite late and even though we were the only sch left, we still stayed there. hahaha. ^^ walked to raffles place mrt station and we were all super high too. sang miao jia and then at the bridge there, i cant remember why, but we all ran across it. haha. then people were looking at us like some weirdos. hahahaha. XD happy moments anyway. oh bouncy had a very scary experience that made her laugh like she was crying. haha. when we crossed the road, there was a car approaching. then the rest ran across but she was on the road and instead of running to the pavement, she ran in circles on the road. =X super scary leh. and she was traumatized after that. =X bleah.
so we took the mrt to tampines. and on the train ride there, we were chit chatting and it made the whole cabin very noisy. =X bleah. heh. i think some people were very irritated by us leh. sorry! =X anyway, we went to tampines 1 and walked around, not knowing what to eat. bleah. after a long time, we finally decided on drinking bubble tea. heh so i bought peppermint milk tea. heh. very nice! ^^ no wonder yannis likes it. heh. talked while drinking. ^^ and after that, we went to urban write (the super chio stationary shop!) and went to the pens section. i decided to buy a marker cos i was super happy. and then alvina and joyce wrote on the testing paper. AHS CHOIR: GOLD WITH HONOURS! haha. we used up 4 sides of the stack of paper. ^^ heh. hope the shop wont ban us from going in next time. heh. anyway after that, we went back home. heh. :D yay.
kay i'm happy. ^^ heh. but there's sch tmr. with 2 tests. ss and emath. awww... spoiler. heh.
anyway, i really want to thank mr toh for all his efforts. thank you, really!
okay. so all the efforts that we put in for the past few months, all the tears that rolled down our cheeks, all the time that we sacrificed for practice, it has all been proved to be worth it today right! but how fast time flies, it's almost time for sec 4s to step down. :X bleah.
anyway, this year's sec 2s have a heavy responsibilty eh. haha. have to make sure that we get gwh in 2011. haha. :) jiayou eh!
heh. yay. okay. happy happy! looking forward to debrief tmr! and i shall upload the photos tmr since it's alrdy so late. heh.
