HI! :D
kay was back from camp for quite some time le. but just lazy to update. :D really missing student camp '09. :X
哈K 46.3! kay know what it means? 哈K is like hark, and 463 when typed on your phone keypad is actually God. so, it's listen to God! haha. that's the theme of the camp. creative eh! :D
heh. so my group is CHOPIN! :D

haha. yay. well, rizvan's blog has the summary of what went on for those 5 days, but i shall blog it too. :D for my own memory's keepsake. :)
okay. so here goes.

DAY ONE! 11june09
we went to simpang for breakfast after registering and putting our bags down. heh. :D and we were late for the first thing of the camp le. which broke camp rule 1. heh. anyway we went to zheng4 tang2 and sat at our allocated seats. so there were all the opening speeches and stuffs. then it was the opening ceremony for 哈K 46.3, which was ms cheong, some pastor and someone else pulling down the string or something and then the banner will roll down. but due to some error, the banner fell off instead. XP haha. and it almost hit ms cheong's head. heh. anyway there was worship too. so we had lunch after that but didnt eat much cos we had a filling breakfast! :D went to concourse steps to learn the house cheer. KUNZZZ! haha kay that's our house name. :D games after that! fun fun fun fun fun! hee. we were supposed to earn tokens to buy materials for our group identity. heh. the games were really great. creative and fun. :D so we earned 820 tokens. got some cloth and paint and paper to do. so we made this pretty scroll with green cloth and on it was the word CHOPIN formed out using torn paper. after doing the group identity, we were supposed to bathe, but of course, we didnt. heh. :D anyway, after that it was dinner and then worship. the worship is really good man. then bible study. vivien joined us from work. :D okay. anyway after that we played cluedo. fun but we thought too much abt who the killer was and missed the whole thing. heh. nvm at least we had fun. :D oh and we climbed a lot too. cos the shutters were locked so we had to climb up the mini hill and over the bar. XP kay had supper and went to bathe after that. heh. :D
DAY TWO! 12june09
woke up and went for quiet time! :D breakfast after that. had buns. and then it was worship and sermon by sikai-ge. kay sorry but i really can't stand the way he talks. nvm abt him. still loving the worship! :D then it was bible study. and then lunch. heh. after that was games in the church. very hilarious. :D jingyi is really good larh. super funny. heh. :D kay then wash-up. we were guai1 enough to go and bathe. heh. dinner after that. and then we had worship and some workshop by some person from some place. kay it was rather boring though, sorry to say. :X anyway we had games after that. haha. station games! 23 stations in the canteen. rush rush rush all the way. cos we only had 1 and a half minute to chiong through the station. heh. kay very fun though. ^^ but super perspiry. heh. so we went to bathe again after that cos we really cannot tahan. DX
DAY THREE! 13june09
woke up and went for quiet time! then breakfast! had burger today. heh. alvina and me went for choir though. heh. practice was okay, only thing we were disrupted by some stupid contract worker who insisted on closing the shutters at 11am. but we had to leave at 11am, so it's kind of just nice. at 11am, we went to take the group photo! :D with all the campers and leaders and committee and everyone! haha. :D one whole big group of ppl in red shirts! that's the colour of the camp tee this year! heehee. okay after that we had bible study! and then lunch. heh. and after lunch, games again! :D it's this music factory kind of thing. we were supposed to earn as much money for our music video that we were supposed to do after that. so we rocked at the drums one. haha. :D yay. $500! and there was this crazy soccer thingy that we had to wear binoculars to play. and i was super laggy with the binoculars and just stoned at one spot. haha. :D oh and there was this other station that we earned $700. cheerleading. haha. we formed one human pyramid and one other pose. then vanessa did a split and ding did his famous cartwheel! :D yay. haha. okay then back to zheng4 tang2. the leaders had to draw lots for a sponsored item to add in our mv. and vanessa got an extension cord. haha. and we had to choose a song to go along with our mv. so when it was our turn to choose, there werent many left and so we picked qing tian by jay chou. brainstormed but couldnt think of a good one. even after dinner also not ready. :X so we had to go for worship and the workshop after dinner. hmm worship was still good as usual but the workshop, sigh. and during the activity time, vanessa saw that we were quite moody cos of the mv thing and so helped us think of something. she super pro larh. came out with something great after like 5-10 mins. heh. so after the workshop, we quickly went out to pick leaves and did some last minute preparation. heh. :D so we started at abt 9.15pm. pavarotti was really good larh. they had a live band with guitarist, keyboardist, singer and someone doing beatbox. super cool. and the acting was good too. heh. our mv thing the storyline was very simple. main female character was xinting who did a super good job. so it's like rizvan used this extension cord thingy as an instrument to attract xinting who was alrdy attached to marc. and then while transitting scenes, a few of us would go to the front of the stage to act cool and pretend that we're singing the song. so we reached out to the judges. haha. fun. :D anyway, chopin and pavarotti got through the preliminary rounds for kunzzz and competed in the finals with 4 other groups from huat nah and hai3 di3 ye1. :D so we went on stage and did a second time. we all thought that pavarotti would win cos they were really really good. hee. and when the judges came back from discussing, they did many of the scenes from our mv. haha. really funny. and then margaret-jie announced that chopin won. haha. i was over there stoning, cos it's like huh we won? haha. anyway, YUP WE WON! yay. heehee. so encore and we did again. then there were MANY ppl in front of us when we were reaching out to the audience. scary man. haha. :D YAY GOOD JOB WELL DONE CHOPIN! thanks xinting and rizvan and marc! but most importantly, thank you vanessa! :D okay supper and then bath. :D oh yes. this mv thingy is called 天才之夜. haha. :D so we won 天才之夜! yay. heh.
DAY FOUR-FIVE! 14june09-15june09 (they're linked)
kay we all woke up wondering what happened the night before. heh. like we were drunk and stuff. :D so quiet time again! and then breakfast. bread with ham and/or kaya! :D then it was the sunday church service. great worship with sikai-ge's sermon. then we changed into our shorts after that cos we were all wearing pants and jeans. yup. and we got ready for the truly amazing AMAZING RACE! :D heehee. in our group, out of 13 ppl, only 2 were wearing shoes. haha. the rest were all in slippers or sandals. super different from the other groups. yup. heh. kay so first station was at bedok reservoir. we chionged down chang2 cheng3 to some bus stop and ran all the way. then we bombarded some bus that goes to bedok reservoir. one whole big group of red on the bus. haha. how cool. :D so at bedok reservoir, we were supposed to look for 5 marbles in the grass patch with 哈K 46.3 on them. i couldnt really see them though. heh. then after yanbing-jie saw them, we chionged off to our second station which was at paya lebar. at paya lebar, our group had to run/walk through this whole route which was very long with someone carrying someone from our group. so rizvan and marc took turns carrying xinting and teri. heh. :D eugeny and vanessa tried carrying too. so after completing it, we chionged to our next station at golden mile complex for a 45 minute lunch break. our group was 4th to reach. heh. :D and after lunch, the task was to buy laksa from a specific stall and get someone from the group to eat that and chou4 dou4 fu4. :X so rizvan helped us with that. thanks eh! :D after that we went to bugis junction for our next activity. walked and ran there. at this station, we had to play mastermind. get 4 chops from the 6 stations situated at the 6 exits in bugis junction in the correct order. so at first, we ran as a group. but after that broke up into pairs to run instead. so ding and i ran tgt. we were all super thirsty but ran out of water so we supported macs a lot. heh. :D that station was really killer for us. heh. spent like one hour plus there. :X anyway after completing it, we chionged to our next station at raffles place mrt. there we played high or low. we were given 3 poker cards at first. and had to win a total of 15 cards from the station masters by playing high or playing low. :D heh. shall not explain the game further. anyway, i bet ding and eugeny lit up upon seeing poker cards. haha. :D bridge! ^^ we did well for that station though. heh. yay. :D so after that we went to our last station at east coast park. the game required only 4 ppl. heh. anyway we took a jump shot there. yay. :D heh. and we went back to sch after completing the race. heehee. so we washed up and stuff. we were the 9th group to complete the whole race. YAY. hee. pavarotti was first. :D anyway, dinner was next. fried rice only though cos we had a barbecue after that. okay. so into the church for worship. :) then altar call. dont know why but i cried a lot. and decided to rededicate my life to Christ. and alvina accepted Christ! :D super happy. so we all prayed and stuffs. okay. then the fun part of the night. :D campfire! heh. the lighting up of the campfire was super cool larh. hee. and then we did the mass dance. this year was the year that there was a new mass dance. really fun to learn and do. haha. :D and after that was the barbecue. yay. heh. :D ate quite a bit. then rizvan took his guitar and played. :) after that, we cleared up the place and went to lie on the road in between parade square and GO. looked at the pretty stars. heh. :D and then we played captain's ball. managed to play for less than 5minutes before getting stopped by xiuxia-jie. :X so we went up to church carpark to talk. heh. :D at abt 2 plus going to 3, we decided to go up to our bunks and bathe before deciding what to do next. after that, it was going to be 4 like that. so alvina, cheryl, eugeny, ding, rizvan, marc and me went to fu4 tang2 to sit there. the 4 of us played bridge. hee. :D after that, we decided to make cards for vanessa and vivien. :) yay. and after we were done, alvina and me cannot tahan le so we went back to our bunks to sleep. it was 6.30am at that time. heehee. :D woke up at abt 8. then we went for quiet time in the parade square. had breakfast after that. fried noodles/ sandwich. then to the church for instructions to clear the place. so chopin was supposed to clear up the girls' bunks. but we were a bit slow so only cleared our own. heh. :D then after that, back to zheng4 tang2 for worship and then debrief. heh. got our group photo too. :D yay. heh. so after that, we went to tamp1 subway for lunch. heh. yay. vanessa joined us after clearing up the church and told us some of her stories in ahs. she didnt have lunch with us though. XP heh. anyway after that i went home cos i was super tired. fell asleep on the bus and almost missed my stop cos i was really sleeping. heh. :D slept from 4pm to 11pm and then again form 2am to 12.30 pm. heehee. :D went out to bugis to meet mummy after that. got a new watch as my early birthday present. haha. YAY! :D
okay. super long post man. :D but it's really a great memory to keep. ^^
哈K 46.3! 学生营 '09 will be kept deep in my memory for as long as i can keep it. :D CHOPIN! YAY.
how i wish that i were a sec 3. then can come for it next year. heh.
we might not be the best group, but we rock! CHOPIN! :D
