ytd was hillsong concert! haha. super nice. ^^
so i met xinting, cheryl T, cheryl L, jinghiang, marc, rizvan at tampines mrt. we bought subway for dinner and packed to expo to eat. so when we reached expo, it was quite crowded with the people going for the concert. met alvina and nicholas and then went in at about 6.50. they gave us a pencil case kind of thing as door gift, with a notepad, a pen and 2 light sticks in it. so the 9 of us went in and look for a spot to stand. it was quite packed already but we still managed to get a spot on the floor. :D and it was very dark cos they were starting alrdy so we couldnt really see what was in front of us. so the concert started. and i think we became quite high after a while and jumped. the first few songs we didnt really know though so just followed them and jumped. heh. hmm then after that there were some songs that were more familiar like hosanna, mighty to save and from the inside out. i think have others too but i cant really rmb. heh. then we had a sermon sort of thing by pastor judah smith. he's funny and interesting. then the topic he touched on was sexuality. not really about it, but he talked a little on it. okay, nvm. don't know how to say. anyway, after that he prayed and did an altercall. quite amazing larh. heh. and then sang more songs. and then he prayed for healing for those who are sick. sang more songs after that too. heh. then i think the whole group of us were super high. cheryl L, alvina and i kept jumping towards the end. then we were all super hot and perspiry(okay, sweaty). heh. then after the last 2nd and 3rd song, cheryl L, alvina and i threw our light sticks that were on our wrists in front. haha. quite fun. ^^ hmm, then very sadly, all good things have to come to an end, and so the concert ended. :( but nvm, at least we all had a great time. haha. took some photos after that. cheryl L wanted to buy the shirt but it was super ex. $25 per shirt. O.O bleah. okay. anyway we went home after that. and alvina and i ran across the overhead bridge to catch bus 12. heh. super packed. we were the last 2 to squeeze up the bus. hee.
okay. then today was covenant's 20th anniversary celebration. so alvina came along and we went to this civil servant club or something. the place was quite pretty. esp the lights. heh. so we were early and waited for people to arrive. then it started and we worshipped a bit. mostly the old old songs. heh. then service started and pastor keith preached while pastor enoch translated. heh. the aircon was super cold and we were freezing in there and i cleverly forgot to bring my jacket. -.- so we went to the toilet and stayed there for quite some time. then went outside to walk a little. felt so much better. :D hee. ^^ the place was rather resort-like. nice and pretty. :) then we went back and the food came soon after that. felt a lot like a wedding dinner. heh. the food was quite nice. liked the cereal on the cereal prawn. hee. hmm the lunch ended at close to 3. then we sent alvina to redhill mrt and we went to granny's house. hee. oh and yay! nanny dad or nanny daddy is showing at 4.30 every weekend! so nice leh that show. haha. nicole! ^^ na and i are quite crazy over her. haha. but can't help it larh. she's really very cute! heh. okay. :)
